Sadly, not every pregnancy is successful. The trauma, blame and sense of failure associated with losing a baby can have a profound effect on the Mother and Father. The sense of trauma, shock and grief also affects the other members of the family and friends who love and want to support the couple.

Some cope better than others and counselling is always a good option to get through the grief and loss.

What you need to understand is that there are many factors involved which are completely outside your control, therefore you are not to blame.
